the legal aspects of COACHING 480/680 and RECREATN 480/680. Steven
Albrechtsen indicated that in other universities this course is taught
by non-J.D. instructors and that the background in sport and recreation
is what is important for these courses. He mentioned that most J.D.s

Under other business, Chris Henige asked what course
number he should use to create travel study experiences in the U.S.
Members of the committee indicated Travel Study 491 applies to U.S. as
well as international travel. Larry Schuetz indicated that the GEN
ED Travel Study 291 can also be used for U.S. travel experience and would
carry Gen Ed credit. The Gen Ed travel study course would need to
be approved by the Gen Ed committee.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:45 p.m. on a Stuart
Glosser/Tony Gulig motion.
Respectfully submitted,
Leslie Meyer
