  4. The Department strives to provide opportunities to make their majors and minors competitive in the workplace. The addition of this new course will make the graduates very marketable.
  1. Rationale

  2. Wireless networks are gaining in speed. As a result, they will in gain in popularity. CEUT majors and minors will need to know how to administer these networks.
     
  3. Cost implications

  4. A lab modernization is planned for Fall 2001; if funds are available, a wireless network will be purchased. If not, the class can be conducted by having vendors supply equipment.
