Justification for action
Feedback from the supervisors of our student teachers indicates that our students are weak in teaching Office 2000 applications, study skills, and English grammar. Also, the College of Education is requiring those seeking admission to Professional Education to be able to demonstrate technological competence. Finally, the standards for business departments published by the National Business Education Association and the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction support this course revision.
