George Ferencz moved to approve the October
5, 2001 agenda. James Bronson seconded the motion, and the motion
carried.
Anne Hamilton moved approval of the History Department's proposal for a new course, HISTRY 425 History of American Indian Law and Policy. George Ferencz seconded the motion, and the motion carried.
Phil Johns moved, and Anne Hamilton seconded, to approve and to receive
and record as appropriate, items six and seven of the agenda. Item
six: approval of the changes in the Sociology

Minor; to receive and record the changes in number and requisite

A proposal to clarify the wording of the Repeat Policy in the catalog was distributed. George Ferencz moved to recommend the document for language clarification. Jo Ann Oravec seconded the motion, and the motion carried.
A document was distributed regarding the wording of the second degree statement in the catalog. After some discussion, it was decided that Financial Aid should be consulted, and that the document should be revisited at a future meeting.
