ECONOMICS - L&S EMPHASIS
MINOR - 21 CREDITS
1.ECON 230-211 AND 230-212II. Relationship to mission and strategic plan of institution, and/or College/Department goals and objectives

III. Rationale
We request the number of credits required for an Economics Minor be
increased from 20 credits to 21 credits. Currently, all courses are 3 credits
(with the exception of ECON 324 – Cooperatives). Therefore students typically
need 21 credits anyway to obtain the Minor. Increasing the number of credits
more closely reflects the actual requirements.
IV. Cost implications
There are no foreseen cost implications.
