Justification:

The change from "African American Family" to "African American Families" more objectively reflects the differentiation in the African American family structure and more accurately represents the course design and content.

This change in requisite for "African American Families (880/614-470) provides course listing consistency for both areas (Sociology and Race & Ethnic Cultures) cross-listing the course.
