                          Title change:  The word athletic has been replaced with coaching.

II. Justification for action

The National Association of Sport and Physical Education uses the word coaching consistently in their national coaching standards. The title change will make the terminology used in the coaching minor consistent with the national standards. III. Course Description A study of the social and psychological factors that impact athletic performance. Theoretical and applied perspectives will be explored from a coaching framework.
