    4. This course will broaden our student’s education to regional, state and international issues and is in line with the college/university goals.
       
    5. RATIONALE

    6. The POM Advisory Board recommended that we include some component of transportation into our student curricula. Our students would then have some exposure to this field and prepare them to become supply chain managers. Supply chain management is a rapidly growing field.
       
    7. COST IMPLICATIONS
This course is currently being offered by the Economics department. No additional resources will be required.
