CALCULUS – 3-5 CREDITS
1. SELECT 1 COURSE: 760-243, 760-250, 760-253
It has been the aim in recent years to make the requirements for
the MCS BBA degree and the MCS BS degree as equal as possible. Most MCS
majors now complete a course in calculus. Only the MCS BS majors with a
minor avoid this requirement. This change in major corrects this inequity.
Calculus has been a requirement of MCS majors from the College of
Business and Economics and for MCS majors from the College of Letters and
Sciences taking the NO MINOR option. This change will make the calculus
requirement uniform for all MCS majors.
