The goals and objectives include offering an array of majors and
minors. This change fits with this goal in keeping a sensible link between
the major and the minor.
This minor is one of the few Professional Business Minors which
has a unique requirement which includes macro- and microeconomics, Finite
Mathematics, and a calculus course. Calculus was eliminated as a requirement
for the general business major through curricular action last year (effective
fall, 2000). This proposed change would bring the general business minor
in line with the general business major.
