To:  Coreq: 760-141 or consent of instructor
                Unreq: 800-210

  3. Justification for action:

  4. Changes in the General Education graduation requirements for students taking 800-130 Physical Science Foundations have changed, making 900-150 Science and Technology in Society an optional 3-credit course rather than a required 3-credit course. Since 900-150 had a corequisite of 760-141 Intermediate Algebra, making 760-141 an implicit corequisite of 800-130, we are dropping 900-150 as a corequisite and making 760-141 the corequisite. Students taking 800-130 must use knowledge acquired in the equivalent of one year of high school algebra and less than one year of high school geometry, both of which are entrance requirements to UW-Whitewater.
