    1. Course revision for CHICANO_ENGLISH 200 "Chicano Literature: Historical Content and Contemporary Text."  (The course identifies and interprets Chican@ literature in a social and historical context with emphasis on texts written before 1980. All Spanish language texts are provided in translation. (Also offered as Chican@ 200 by Race and Ethnic Cultures) The title of this course is being changed on the new separate form. See next item on the agenda).
    2. Title change for CHICANO_ENGLISH 200 FROM "Chicano Literature: Historical Content and Contemporary Text." TO "Chican@ Literature to 1980.(See above).
    3. Course revision for CHICANO_ENGLISH 201 "Contemporary Chicano Literature."  (The course content is being revised to update the “contemporary” aspect of the course. New literary, historical, and cultural sources have become available since the course was created in the late 1970s, as well as a new theoretical body through which to examine the literature. The changes in content will reflect these changes).

    1. Change in the History BA_BS Major.  (Adds new courses to the list of major requirements and corrects previous errors in the catalog).
    2. Change in the History BSE Major.  (Adds new courses and deletes unique requirements for social studies).
    3. Change in the Social Studies Broadfield Major(Adds new courses, removes the social studies unique requirements, and corrects previous catalog errors).
    4. Change in the History Major-Public History Emphasis(Adds new courses and updates the unique requirements)
    5. Change in the History Minor(Adds new courses to the minor).
    6. Change in the Public History Minor(Adds new courses to the minor and corrects previous catalog errors).
    7. Change in the History Education Minor(Adds new course to minor).
  7. Political Science
    1. Cross list new course EDFOUND_POLISCI 341 Urban Education: Issues and Policies with Political Science.
  8. International Studies
    1. Change in the International Studies Major with Emphases (The proposal changes the major description to reflect the substantive changes that have been made in the curriculum since 2003. It also adds several courses to the list of approved courses, which have been already been approved through the curricular process. Finally, it makes editorial changes to make the major more intelligible to students).
    2. Deletion of the International Studies Major Without Emphases.  (Deletes the old International Studies Emphasis which did not require an emphasis).

    1. Asian Studies Minor(Add new and cross listed courses to the minor).
    2. Add the 498 R to the following  Biology majors:
      1. Cell/Physiology (BABS)

    3. Title change for HISTRY 493 FROM  "Applied Histoiry" TO "Public History Internship."
    4. Repeatability change for the following Psychology courses:

    5. Delete the Psychology BSE submajor Social Studies - Broadfield Psychology II Emphasis
