    1. Change in the Latin American Studies minor(The change makes the minor more coherent, with all students in the minor taking INTRNAR 260, Introduction to Latin American Studies.  The minor is also strengthened by the addition of a study/travel abroad experience or related internship, and the unique requirement of Spanish 252 proficiency)
  4. Asian Studies
    1. Change in the Asian Studies minor (The number of electives should be 6 units, so that total number of credits for the minor would be 21 units [3 units from Capstone + 6 units from Humanities + 6 units from Social Sciences + 6 units electives]).
  5. Receive and Record
    1. Prerequisite change for the following English courses:

  6. Continue discussion on Comprehensive majors and "liberal arts" education and consider the attached resolution.  You may find it useful to review the attached definitions of liberal education and liberal arts from the AAC&U.
