At its meeting on Thursday, December 4,  2008, the Letters & Sciences Curriculum Committee approved the propsals listed below.  These proposals are being forwarded to the UCC for its action or information.   The signature pages will be forwarded to you shortly..

1. Course revision, description change, and title change for ANTHROPL 320 FROM  "Heritage and Cultural Resource Management"  TO  "Understanding Heritage:  From Landmarks to Theme Parks"
2. Course revision, description change, and title change for ANTHROPL 365 FROM "Precolumbian Civilizations" TO "Mayas, Aztecs and Incas: Precolumbian Civilizations."

1. New Course HISTRY 255 "Critical Issues."  (This course has been sent to the General Education Review Committee for their action.  The signature page should come from that committee).
2. Change in the History Elementary Education Emphasis Minor (BSE) TO History Education Emphasis  (This is being sent to the College of Education for their action.  The signature page should come from them).
   
3. Deletion of the History Secondary Education Emphasis Minor.  (This is being sent to the College of Education for their action.  The signature page should come from them)
