    1. New Submajor "Sociology - Family and Health Studies Emphasis."  (This emphasis is an interdisciplinary concentration that complements the Sociology Major focusing on the social and psychological dimensions of families and health. It integrates career development goals with a foundation in the social and behavioral sciences to provide students with the background necessary to understand and analyze the interrelationships between family and health issues and pursue employment in the human services field).

    1. Add Cross-listing to the following courses:
      1. GEOGRAPHY 361 "Geography of South and Southeast Asia" cross list with ASIANST
      2. GEOGRAPHY 364 "Geography of East Asia" cross list with ASIANST
      3. POLISCI 460 "Government and Politics of Asia" cross list with ASIANST
      4. POLISCI 472 " Government and Politics of China" cross list with ASIANST
The cross listing of these courses will improve the visibility of the Asian Studies minor and will help inform students about the field of Asian Studies.
