302 "Culture, Medicine and Health." (This course fills the need for a
cross-cultural survey course that focuses on both western and non
western forms of illness, health, and well being. It will broaden
the educational choices available to students who wish to learn about
diffferent forms of healthcare in other nations and cultures.

" Minorities and the Criminal Justice System." (This course is designed to view the
American criminal justice system from a critical perspective by
focusing on racial, ethnic, and sexual minorities. Students'
understanding of the role of minority status in the functioning of the
American criminal justice system will be enhanced through a thorough
understanding of one minority group of their choice in addition to a
general understanding of several minority groups).
