  1. Sociology, Anthropology and Criminal Justice
    1. New course  ANTHROPL 302 "Culture, Medicine and Health."   (This course fills the need for a cross-cultural survey course that focuses on both western and non western forms of illness, health, and well being.  It will broaden the educational choices available to students who wish to learn about diffferent forms of healthcare in other nations and cultures.  This course will be especially valuable to students entering healthcare careers, social work, education and health-related economics and business fields  as well as sociology majors and athropology minors).
    2. New course  SOCIOLGY 426  " Minorities and the Criminal Justice System."   (This course is designed to view the American criminal justice system from a critical perspective by focusing on racial, ethnic, and sexual minorities.  Students' understanding of the role of minority status in the functioning of the American criminal justice system will be enhanced through a thorough understanding of one minority group of their choice in addition to a general understanding of several minority groups).
    3. Change in the Family and Health Studies Minor(Adds the new course, ANTROPL 302 to  area 2 and area 3 of the minor).
