SUB: Proposals approved at the L&S Curriculum Committee Meeting October 14, 2004

At its meeting on Thursday, October 14, 2004, the Letters & Sciences Curriculum Committee approved the propsals listed below.  These proposals are being forwarded to the UCC for its action or information.   The signature pages will be sent to you shortly.
 

  1. Political Science
    1. New certificate "Lobbying Certificate."
  1. Sociology
    1. New course, SOCIOLGY 371, "Sociology of Homicide.


      2. Please NOTE:  the Sociology course was passed on the condition that certain changes be made to the proposal.  This is the orignial proposal and we hope to have the revised one to you by Friday.  If this is not the case we will have to pull the course from the agenda unless you will accept it after Friday.  I will hold the signature page for this proposal until we have the revised one.
