  1. The minutes of the December 7, 2000 meeting were approved as distributed.

Gulig/Waraczynski moved to approve the prerequisite change for the History course, 740-125 History of Modern America, FROM: Unreq: 900-120 TO: None, and the prerequisite change for the General Education Core course 900-120 U.S. Experience in a World Context FROM: Unreq: 740-125 and 740-105 TO: Unreq. 740-105.

  6. The motion passed unanimously.
     
  7. Kane/Stekel moved to approve the following new Mathematics and Computer Science courses:
    1. 765-322 Computer Languages and Compilers
    2. 765-433 Theory of Algorithms
    3. 765-434 Theory of Computation
    and the new Mathematics and Computer Science Major: Mathematics-Computer Emphasis
    The motion passed unanimously
     
  1.  Kane/Stekel moved to approve the following new Mathematics and Computer Science courses:
    1. 765-443 Computer Simulation
    2. 765-445 Computer Modeling
    and the new Mathematics and Computer Sciences Emphasis/Track, Applied Mathematics and Computer Science Broadfield.
    The motion passed unanimously.
