  1. The minutes of the March 22, 2001 meeting were approved as distributed.

  5. Stekel/Cartwright moved to approve the new Physics courses, 800-100 Energy and 800-120 Light and Color.  The motion passed unanimously.

  7. Stekel/Cartwright moved to approve the description change and title change for the following Physics courses.
    1. 800-130 FROM Physical Science Foundations  TO Physics Foundations.
    2. 800-364 FROM Thermodynamics and Kinetic Theory TO Thermal Physics
     The motion passed unanimously.
     
  8. Kane/Johns moved to approve the following proposals from the MCS department:

  10. Gulig/Cartwright moved to approve major and minor changes for the following History majors and minors:

    B.  Change in the following majors:

    2. Social Studies with History Emphasis I
    3. Social Studies with History Emphasis II
    The motion passed unanimously with a friendly amendment to include Psychology 844-104 in Section 7d of the Social Studies with History Emphasis I and Social Studies with History Emphasis II.
     
  12. Gulig/Winship moved to approve change in the History BA/BS major and the History minor.  The motion passed unanimously.

  14. Gulig/Cartwright moved to approve the new History minor, BA/BS History Minor with Public History Emphasis.  The motion passed unanimously.

  16. Luther/Waraczynski moved to approve the new track in the Geography major, Geology Track within the Geography Major.  The motion passed unanimously.
