III. Rationale
 POLISCI 340 Politics of Development clearly fits in with the other courses in Area 4 (International Relations) and meets the objectives of Area 4.   POLISCI 365 Black Political and Social Thought clearly fits in with the other courses in Area 5 (Political Theory) and meets the objectives of Area 5, but they were inadvertently not modified in the major when they were approved.
