The meeting was called to order by Dean John Stone at 2:18 p.m. With no additions or corrections, the minutes of the January 28, 2010, meeting were approved on a Manuel Ossers/Paul Adogamhe motion.
Though there were no formal announcements listed on the agenda, John did mention that graduate summer enrollment is down about 5-10% from the same time last year. He also mentioned that he had sent to all graduate program coordinators, a memo soliciting their feedback on a request to change the graduate assistantship application deadline. He will share more about this at the next meeting.
John Zbikowski moved to approve Information Only items A through R on the agenda. Pavan Chennamaneni seconded the motion. With no questions or concerns, the motion carried. Items included:

New Business
John Chenoweth moved, with a second by Clayton Sager, to approve New Business item A on the agenda. Don Zahn explained the rationale for the change in the Tech module of the MBA program. With no further discussion, the motion carried.
- Curricular Action: Change in Major: MBA: Remove ITBE 772 and ITBE 778 from the list of courses in the Technology Module
Next John Chenoweth moved, with a second by Clayton Sager, for approval of the change in the School Business Management major. With no questions or concerns, the motion carried.
- Curricular Action: Change in Major: MSE-School Business Management: Remove ITBE 772 and ITBE 778 from the list of electives. Add ITBE 734 and MCS 785 to the list of electives
Christine Neddenriep next moved for approval of the change in degree from the Department of Psychology. John Chenoweth seconded the motion, which carried unanimously.
- Curricular Action: Change in Degree: Add PSYCH 762 to the list of required courses for the Education Specialist degree. Total number of credits will change from 37 to 40
Anene Okocha moved, with a second by Pavan Chennamaneni, to adjourn the meeting at 2:28 p.m. The motion carried. While this was close, it did not break the record seven-minute meeting run by Dr. McGraw in the early ‘80s. Shortly after the meeting, Don Zahn was seen sprinting back to Hyland Hall to catch the score of the Marquette game.
