Announcements
- The preliminary figures in the Fall 2001 Graduate Enrollment Report indicate that the total graduate FTE for the fall term stands at 605.There has been a steady increase in the total FTE since the fall of 1997, but still short of the Chancellor’s goal by about 140 FTE.The MBA and Counseling programs are to be commended for their efforts to increase enrollments.
- Typically there are between 15 and 18 theses submitted by UW-W graduate students each year. These students are eligible to compete for the Outstanding Thesis Award.Students must submit four copies of their thesis to the Graduate Office by Monday, October 15, 2001 to be considered for the award.
- The print version of the Graduate Catalog will cease as of the 2002-2004 edition and the on-line version will become the binding catalog. In place of the print version, folders for individual programs containing an application for graduate school, a summary of graduate policies, and marketing-oriented information will be available to students. It is estimated that this will reduce the current mail costs by two-thirds.
